两 and 二 both mean the numeral 2. 两 is often used before a measure word, while 二 is simply used as a number, e.g. 两张床, 两本书. But sometimes 两 and 二 are both correct, e.g. 两百 and 二百.
I have just joined the first lesson. I want to learn Chinese speaking and writting but the lesson contains only pronunciations can u plz mail me the writtings too of the pin yin zeegobaba@yahoo.com
你好,quyrom.
差不多 could be a adj. word or a adv. word.
1、adj. 差不多 means similar; about the same. e.g. 她俩长得差不多(The two of them look very much like.)
差不多 also means a great majority of . e.g. 差不多的家务他都会干(She can do a wide range of housework.)
2、adv. 差不多 means almost; nearly; just about.
e.g.
差不多高(about the same height)
我的文章差不多写完了(I have almost finished my article),
差不多两个星期(almost two weeks)
This time I write the simplified Chinese charaters for you. Can you read them?
Noun is to express people or object ,time and place. It is always used for subject and object. It usually can be plus with amount phrase ahead and adv.
Verb is to express action, behavior, mental activity or existence, change, disappear and etc. It is always used for predicate or predicate center. It can be embellished by adv “no”.
For example, 吃一个苹果, 吃 is the verb, 一个is the amount phrase, 苹果is the noun.
Perhaps what he means is that he is confused because, for example, in English we say discuss (verb) and discussion (noun) but in Chinese they are both 讨论. There are many examples of this in Chinese. Perhaps he is wondering how to distinguish nouns and verbs in such a situation. I admit it is a problem for my Chinese speaking students when they have to translate Chinese into English: for example, the sentence 我跟他讨论这个问题 would be "I discussed the matter with him" whereas 我们有一个良好的讨论 would be "We had a good discussion". So many Chinese students are confused about this that it wouldn't surprise me if learners of Chinese were confused about this as well.
Dear Teacher Wendy,
Thanks for your explanations, you always try all your best to answer my questions. It's very kind of you to do that. Thank you, thank forever. Right, I can read the simplified Chinese. Further more I can easily change them into traditional one. Don't worry about that. (I am in Taiwan now).
Have a good day!

你好!
時候 means (the duration of) time, when,時候could connect two actions if they happen at the same time. e.g.1、我買衣服的時候遇到了她 。2、我喫飯的時候,他來了 。in these two sentences,“買衣服”and“遇到他”happen at the same time,“喫飯”和“他来了”also happen at the same time。So we use 時候 to connect them.
In your sentences, sentence 1,“去法國”和“畢業”couldn't happen at the same time,it should be: after graduation I will go to France, the righe sentence in Chinese should be “我畢業以後就去 ”
sentence 2,“買飛機票”and“回家”also have the order, first you should buy the ticket ,and then go home。the right sentence should be我買了飛機票以後就回家 .
Hope this explanation could help you!

Just remember that 二 usually used to count the number, e.g. 一,二 二十 十二.
But when you want to express the number of some objects, you shoud use 两, e.g. 两个人, 两本书, 两个学生, 两件衣服, 两杯水.
