Mandarin is often classified as an SVO language. Basic Chinese Sentence Structure is as follow:
All Chinese words have only one grammatical form, as the language lacks conjugation, declension or any other inflection (there are minor exceptions).Chinese verbs do not change based on tense or gender, number, case, or person of the subject. Pronouns do not have morphological changes no matter them as used in the nominative, accusative or possessive case.

First, 字词（zì cí）,it means the character and the vocabulary;
Then, try this twisters:
dāo zi, fǔ zi, jù zi, záo zi, chuí zi , bào zi, chǐ zi, zuò chū zhuō zi, yǐ zi hé xiāng zi .
刀子、斧子、锯子、凿子、锤子、刨子、尺子，做出桌子、椅子和箱子。
The knife, axes, saws, chisels, hammer, a plane, a ruler, make a table, a chair and a box.
míng cí, dòng cí, shù cí, liàng cí, dài cí, fù cí, zhù cí, lián cí, zào chéng yǔ cí, shī cí hé chàng cí.
名词、动词、数词、量词、代词、副词、助词、连词，造成语词、诗词和唱词。
Nouns, verbs, numerals, classifier, pronouns, adverbs, auxiliary, conjunctions, made sentences, poetry and songs.
Zi and Ci is a little difficult, but practice make perfect, hope it helps:)

For your target, my suggestion is:
1. You should study Pinyin lessons first. You can follow our lessons by reading after the audio. It's very simple.And if you want to write Chinese, you can start our Chinese character lessons.
2. Then you can try our basic conversation. When you study this, you can follow our Step-by-step guide(recommended process) .It is also very easy.

Welcome to our website. I agree that if you know Chinese grammar well, it will helps you made the correct sentence. And if you want to know which word is suit for this sentence, my suggestions is:
1. First you can look up the dictionary, pay attention to the meaning and the example, it will let you know if that word is correct.
2. Pay attention to the part of speech of each word, like noun and adj. are always be object of the sentence. You can also use part of speech to decide if it is suitable.
3. You can also ask our teacher directly. We will help you get the useage of this words. :)

"Thank you" in Chinese is 谢谢(xiè xie). About your Chinese name, I don't know you are a girl or a boy.If you are a girl, I think 瑞安(Ruì ān) is good. and if you are a boy, then how about 瑞克(ruì kè)?

Chinese tones are usually challenging for the beginning-level Mandarin learners. There are several suggestions for you on Chinese tones:
First of all, memorize, memorize, and memorize. Try to remember the Chinese tones as much as possible. The tone chart and hand signals help you remember how four tones are pronounced. To review, the first tone is high flat (mā), the second low to high (má), the third low flat then raise (mǎ), and the fourth high to low (mà)
Find some simple Chinese audios and listen to them. These options can expose your ears to native speaking Chinese.
Practice makes perfect. Grasp every opportunity to speak with native Chinese people. Read Chinese words or short stories aloud and try to hear the words to reinforce your memory. Record yourself and play it back later, and ask yourself: "how does it sound?"

When you meet someone first time, those two sentences are both ok. The only difference is "jiàn dào"（见到）means to see, and "rèn shi" (认识) means to know (somebody).
is ''jian dao'' same as '' kan dao''?..teacher..
here "jian dao" has the same meaning with "kan dao", but "jian dao" more formal.
